The Oregon Air National Guard F15 fighter fleet is approaching 30 years old. The F35 Joint Strike Fighter is the biggest military contract in history and will replace several current weapon systems over the coming decades. If Oregon expects to maintain an Air National Guard presence for the next 40 years and not be subject to BRAC (Base realignment and closure) we must become very proactive and seek to replace the aging F15 fighter fleet with the new F35 joint strike fighter.
1. Replace Oregon Air National Guard F15 fighter fleet with the JSC F35
2. Create an "Anti Terrorist Rapid Reaction Force" in lieu of "Perpetual Nation Building on deficit spending"!
3. Remove troops from South Korea
4. Reduce troops in Iraq and roll back OPS tempo budget
5. Freeze military spending at $600 billion!
6. Stop engaging in "Perpetual War On Deficit Spending"
